Method of strengthening pipelines on nuclear reactor fuel rods
Description
The fins for centering the fuel rods within the meshes of spacer grids or among one another are fixed on to the claddings of zirconium-alloy by electrical resistance welding. The welding electrode can be driven pneumatically or hydraulically beneath the claddings. (DG)

Die Fuehrungsstollen zur Zentrierung der Brennstaebe in den Maschen von Abstandshaltergittern oder untereinander werden mittels elektrischer Widerstandsschweissung auf die Huellrohre aus Zirkonlegierung aufgebracht. Die Schweisselektrode kann pneumatisch oder hydraulisch unterhalb der Huellrohre gefuehrt werden. (DG)Files
