EPR study of the density of states and effective binding constant in Sr-or Ba-doped La2CuO4
Description
It is shown that the critical temperature and density of states at the Fermi level in a high-temperature superconductor La2CuO4, doped with strontium and barium are linked by BSC type dependence. An anomalous suppression of superconductivity in La2-xBaxCuO4 compound within barium concentration area x=0.12-0.15 is linked with effective coupling constant weakening due to current carrier localization, induced by a low-temperature structural instability. 9 refs.; 3 figs
