Electronic and magnetic properties of V5S8

Description
The electronic properties of monoclinic V5S8 in its paramagnetic, ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic states have been studied by means of the linear muffin-tin orbital method of band-structure calculation. On the basis of the corresponding results, the magnetic properties of V5S8 are discussed in comparison with experimental data stemming from neutron scattering and nuclear magnetic resonance. (author)
