Description

I discuss current issues in supernova modeling and remark the important role of neutrinos in physics of supernovae. I present recent results of supernova simulations with a new supernova equation of state to investigate the role of neutrinos in explosion dynamics and the neutrino signals from the formation of black hole. A possible role of neutrino-nucleus interactions in the neutrino heating mechanism is discussed
