Structure in γ-ray yields from the 12C+12C, 12C+16O, 16O+16O and 12C+14N reaction above the Coulomb barrier
Description
The fusion cross sections have been measured by γ-ray techniques. For the four systems 12C+12C, 12C+16O, 16O+16O and 12C+14N, the observed structure is associated with channels in which there is at least one α particle. The structure results essentially from the 2α channels in the first three reactions and from the αp channel in the 12C+14N reaction
