Ways of cost and period decreasing in NPP production centre construction

Description
A design of a production centre which comprises a set of provisional buldings for NPP construction with WWER-1000 reactors is developed. Range of buildings, type of structures, number and cost of buildings are determined in the design. The design has been developed with account of stage commissioning power units with 2-year interval. Two variants of the production centre lay-out are developed. A variant in which the unified production centre is placed on the side of buildings of the last power unit within the exclusion area is most economical. It is advisable to utilize prefabricated rapidly mounted buildings instead of prefabricated-knoch-down ones under the conditions of NPP construction covering more than 15 years. A complex program ensuring decrease of building cost by 15-20% labour content by 40-50%, material consumption by 35-40% and duration of building construction by 25-30% is developed for accelerating construction of unified buildings and increasing their plant readiness
