Description

This decree modifies rules aimed at preventing risks for the health and safety related to ionising radiations from natural or artificial origin which can be applied to workers, in order to ensure the regulatory transposition of arrangements specified in the 2013/59/Euratom directive. The decree specifies the scope of application, prevention principles, exposure boundary values, the reference level, the dose calculation method, the risk assessment, arrangements and means of prevention (collective protection, work space design, signalling, arrangements for mobile devices, and so on), the control of the efficiency of prevention means, conditions of employment of workers (individual protection, worker classification, worker information, exposure control and survey), the follow-up of worker health, the case of exceptional exposure, the organisation of radiation protection, the missions of the IRSN, and other control systems
