Radiation protection for transport and storage of radioactive wastes
Description
Methods and techniques of individual steps for radioactive waste management like conditioning, transport, intermediate and final storage are investigated, whereby radiation protection aspects on handling such materials are emphasized. The aim is a substantiated assessment of short and long time exposure to radiation for professional protection personnel, escort and security forces, and the population in general. (orig.)

Methoden und Technik der einzelnen Schritte bei der Entsorgung radioaktiver Stoffe wie Konditionierung, Transport, Zwischenlagerung und Endlagerung werden untersucht, wobei im Vordergrund der Betrachtungen die Strahlenschutzaspekte beim Umgang mit diesen Stoffen stehen. Ziel ist die begruendete Abschaetzung der kurz- und langfristigen Strahlenexposition von beruflichem Strahlenschutzpersonal, Begleit- und Sicherheitskraeften sowie der Bevoelkerung.
