Decrease of thermal decomposition rate of lead and barium styphnates in a radiation field
- 1. Kemerovskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ., Kemerovo (Russian Federation)
Description
Effect of gamma-radiation(dose rate constitutes 10 kgr/r) during thermolysis in C6H(NO2)3O2PbH2O lead styphnate and in C6H(NO2)3O2Ba·H2O barium styphnate is studied. Thermostatic control was carried out within 120-190 deg C temperature range. Thermolysis activation energy constitutes 139 kJ/mole for lead styphnate, and 54.5 kJ/mole - for barium styphnate. The effect of thermal decomposition rat decrease within radiation field is most distinct under low temperatures. 2 refs
