Description
This paper presents outcomes of the experimental investigations of the mass and energy distribution (MED) of fission fragments for 10 nuclei-targets (from 232Th to 244Cm). The measuring was carried out with a proton beam generated at the isochronous cyclotron in Almaty, using the method of fast spectrometry of the pair fragments and Si-Au-surface-barrier detectors. In the symmetric fission modes a considerable bias in the normal distribution was observed. Apparently, the bias is caused by the strained envelopes impact that may occur during the low-energy fission. The impact is similar to the earlier one discovered in the nuclei in the vicinity of thallium [4]
