Determinig the characteristics of radiation collected by a detector

Description
The formulas for determining energy spectrum and a fraction of radiation collected by a detector located at an arbitrary angle to the plane on which a source of any form emitting according to the arbitrary law is placed are obtained. For the particular of a gamma source case formulas which permit to determine the Stokes parameters for #betta#-quanta collected by the detector are obtained. The method considered can be used for determining radiation characteristics for nonplanar detectors and radiation detecting systems with collimators. It is concluded that the obtained formulas can be used for optimization of the radiation detection technique
