Twisted hexagonal ondulator with rounded corners

Description

For free electron laser undulators a new theoretical model was presented. The undulator is a stack of hexagons with rounded corners of wires which in x y plane are described by relations which contain products of Heaviside functions. The ring undulator is a particular model of this one. Each wire is twisted relative to precedent one with a constant angle.Different approximations for magnetic field was studied.The magnetic field components of B for a large range of ratio of R to h (where R is ondulator radius ,h is step between wires) are computed. This new structure has a high transversatility of the magnetic field
