Intensity transformer for the ionic current measurement of the CRYEBIS ion source
Description
A high-sensitivity toroidal transformer has been studied and tested to measure in a permanent and non-destructive way a pulsed ion-beam intensity of 1011 to 1012 charges in 500μs equivalent, to 30μA-peak. The low-impedance and high-gain amplifier (106) allows to measure currents from 1μA-to peak
