Consequence analysis of Akkuyu NPP site
Creators
- 1. Cekmece Nuclear Research and Training Center, Istanbul (Turkey)
Description
Site specific public risk estimates given in this article were obtained by CRAC calculation for the Akkuyu site, Turkey's first nuclear power plant site. The power plant was assumed to be a 1000 MWe and the classical 10 PWR release categories described in WASH-1400 were accepted as the whole accident spectrum. Hourly meteorogical data were supplied to code. Complementary cumulative distribution functions and expected values of public damages (early and late), and total doses were obtained. (author)
