High-Dose Therapy In Malignant Lymphomas
Description
High-dose therapy with autologous stem cell transplantation is one of standard therapies in the management of malignant lymphomas, especially relapsed Hodgkin lymphoma and aggressive lymphomas. The role of allogeneic transplantation is less clear due to high treatment-related mortality. Current position of high-dose therapy with stem cell transplantation will have to be re-defined because of availability of new drugs, like unconjugated and conjugated monoclonal antibodies. (author)
