Description
Advanced pebble-bed HTR's are being designed in Germany based on experience from AVR and THTR-300. The safety behaviour of the follow-on projects is discussed under core-cooling accidents aspects for a small and medium HTR. Due to the inherent safety features of the HTR-concepts catastrophic accident effects can be excluded. (author)
