Description
One of the most important services provided to the reactor designer is experimental data on the behaviour of materials under irradiation. Key components in obtaining such data are the in-pile irradiation loops and rigs described by the authors. Experimental problems met are size, equipment geometry and operating temperature; their solutions are described. (author)
