Description
The additional radiation exposure to the population due to radionuclides released from nuclear facilities is at present much lower than the extent of variations of the natural radiation exposure to larger population groups. It will increase in the future, but it will fall within the extent of variations of the natural radiation burden if the first large reprocessing plants will already be equipped with H3 and Kr 85 extraction plants for separation efficiencies of about 99%. Abstract (German)
Die zusaetzliche Strahlenbelastung der Bevoelkerung durch aus kerntechnischen Anlagen freigesetzte Radionuklide ist zur Zeit bei weitem niedriger als die Schwankungsbreite der natuerlichen Strahlenbelastung fuer groessere Bevoelkerungsgruppen. In der Zukunft wird sie zunehmen, jedoch innerhalb der Schwankungsbreite der natuerlichen Strahlenbelastung liegen, falls schon die ersten grossen Wiederaufarbeitungsanlagen mit H3- und Kr 85-Entzugsanlagen fuer Abscheideleistungen von etwa 99% ausgeruestet werden.
