Leptonic decays of mesons in the quark bag model

Description
We consider the leptonic decay constants of the pseudoscalar mesons (π, K, D, F, B), vector mesons (rho, ω, phi, K*, D*, F*, psi, UPSILON), and axial mesons (A1, K/sub A/, D/sub A/, F/sub A/) in the quark bag model. The u- and d-quark masses are assumed to be equal to zero. Restrictions on the strange, charmed, and beauty quark masses are obtained from the widths of the decays phi→e+e-, and psi→e+e-, and UPSILON→e+e-, respectively. The calculated values of the decay constants of π→μν, K→μν, rho→e+e-, and ω→e+e- are close to the corresponding experimental values. The meson decay constants grow with the mass of the mesons
