On the quantum number projection. Pt. 2

Description
The general theory proposed in a previous work is applied to the particle number projection. The conventional pairing Hamiltonian is diagonalized in the space spanned by the projected 0-, 2-, 4-quasi-particle states. The variation after the projection is also carried out. Comparison with the exact results and application to tin isotopes are presented. (orig.)
