Description
After a brief review of the original grand unified theories (GUT) scenario (SU(5) and generalizations), the status of B in the original and new GUT paradigms is discussed. As an example of the latter, where B is conserved in the gauge sector, SU(15) is described including the prediction of light difermions such as dileptons and leptoquarks. (author). 12 refs
