Investigation of non-statistical intermediate processes in the inelastic scattering of α particles on 28Si nucleus

Description

A theoretical description is proposed for those intermediate processes which participate in the inelastic scattering of α-particles on 28Si nucleus, and are not included in the theory of compound nucleus. An expression is derived for the differential cross-section under the assumption of a simple molecular structure of the intermediate states. For illustration purposes, some calculation examples are given. (author)
