Odd-P effects in the decays of charmed baryons produced in colliding e+e- beams

Description
We have studied those contributions to the cross section of inclusive hadron-production processes in colliding e+e- beams which are caused by the one-photon mechanism for charmed baryon production, followed by a two-body decay which does not conserve spatial parity. For this mechanism we have found the structure functions for the processes e+e-→h+X and e+e-→h1+h2+X (where h, h1, and h2 are the detected hadrons). Odd-P effects in the reactions e+e-→h1+h2+X can arise even in collisions of unpolarized leptons. The magnitude of these effects is predicted to be significant: above the threshold for the production of pairs of charmed baryons odd-P effects can reach 100%, varying slowly with the energy of the colliding beams
