Modernization of the cooling pump for NPP

Description
Design of improved cooldown pump TsNR 800-230 R is considered as compared to the existing pump design. The necessity for modernization is caused by insufficient reliability and durability of bearing assemblies and shaft end seals and by increased vibration under operation. These drawbacks are eliminated by means of changing the design of radial and axial bearings and replacing the shaft end face seals by a single seal of a new design
