Some aspects of the economics of fast reactor fuel cycle evaluation

Creators

  • 1. Polytechnic of the South Bank, London (UK)

Description

The economics of Fast Reactor Fuel Cycles is a subject marked by a more than usual degree of uncertainty. An evaluation of the future costs and benefits is therefore a necessarily tentative exercise, and the proposed paper will be written within the limitations imposed by the present state of knowledge. It will be no less limited by the present ''state of the art'', which while contingent on the availability of information, is primarily to do with questions of economic method and conception as applied to this field of study.
