Description

A new KhN45Yu alloy intended for service in oxidizing atmosphere at temperatures between 1000 and 1300 deg C has been developed. As compared to the known KhN70Yu alloy, the new alloy is lower in nickel and is superior to it in process plasticity, being close in deformation parameter values to those of the Kh18N10T steel. An experimental piercing of blanks has been carried out; optimum heating temperature and a deep centre drilling have been suggested. The industrial production of cold-rolled tubes of the new alloy measuring 32-2x4 mm has been introduced
