Description
A Shell-model-Like Approach (SLAP) is suggested for the pairing correlations within the relativistic mean field (RMF) theory. With the TMA interaction, the ground state properties and low-lying excited states for Ne isotopes are obtained and compared with the data available and BCS approximation. With SLAP for pairing, the blocking effect of odd nucleon can be treated consistently. (authors)
