Anomalous selfinteractions of gauge bosons in WWZ and ZZZ production at NLC

  • 1. Freiburg Univ. (Germany). Fakultaet fuer Physik

Description

We examine the possibility of measuring the anomalous selfcouplings of gauge bosons induced in the limit of infinite mass of the Higgs boson by dimension 4 invariant Lagrangians which break the custodial SU(2)R symmetry minimally in the processes e+e- → Z0Z0Z0 and e+e- → Z0W+W- at √s = 500 GeV. We estimate the limits NLC will be able to put on these couplings and address the question whether this measurement can reveal the low energy effects to be expected from strong selfinteractions of the spontaneous symmetry breaking system.
