Excitation and decay of 6q-states in proton-deuteron inelastic scattering

Description
The study on the excitation of the 6q-states in the proton-deuteron inelastic scattering by the protons decay into the γpn and γd is carried out. The method for search of such states without the γ-quantum registration is considered. The two-arm spectrometer, making it possible to carry out the correlation measurements of the energy and angular distributions of the scattered proton and charged particles from the 6q-states decay, is described. The narrow peaks with the masses of Mx=1904 ± 2, 1926 ± 2, and 1942 ± 2 MeV/s2 are identified in the course of measurements in the spectrum of the pd → pX reaction missing masses
Abstract (Russian)
Проведено исследование возбуждения при неупругом рассеянии протонов на дейтроне 6q-состояний, распадающихся на γpn и γd. Рассмотрен метод поиска таких состояний без регистрации γ-кванта. Описан двухплечевой спектрометр, позволяющий проводить корреляционные измерения энергетических и угловых распределений рассеянного протона и заряженных частиц от распада 6q-состояний. В результате измерений в спектре недостающих масс pd→pX-реакции обнаружены узкие пики с массами Mx=1904 ± 2, 1926 ± 2 и 1942 ± 2 МэВ/с2Additional details
