Thermostimulated electron and photon emission in LiB3O5 nonlinear crystals
- 1. Ural'skij Gosudarstvennyj Tekhnicheskij Univ., Ekaterinburg (Russian Federation)
Description
Results of studies on thermostimulated emission of electrons and photons in lithium tri-borate monocrystals are presented. The study is accomplished mainly through the method of thermostimulated emission of electrons and photons after various radiation impacts. In particular, the thermostimulated exo-emission of the LiB3O5 crystals is for the first time identified and studied. Analysis of experimental results revealed two new capture centers. It is established that thermal annealing of the given centers at 450 and 515 K conditions enabled its contribution only to the exoelectron emission. Essential dependence of thermostimulated processes in LiB3O5 on the radiation impact parameters is found
