1987 run of the collider detector at Fermilab, an overview

  • 1. Tsukuba Univ., Sakura, Ibaraki (Japan). Inst. of Physics

Description

Preliminary results on physics analyses based on the 1987 experiment by the Collider Detector at Fermilab (CDF) are presented. Since all of the results presented in this paper are currently under preparation for the publication, only an overall picture is given. The data agree well with the standard model predicted at the center of mass energy of 1800 GeV in proton-antiproton collisions. With the integrated luminosity of approximately 32 nb-1 of the 1987 run, observation of any significant deviation from the standard model requires further analysis
