Description

The analysis of the reactivity coefficient of the RSG-GAS core under Hot Full Power (HFP) conditions has been carried out because it is closely related to operating safety. This parameter calculation has never been done, currently it is done using the WIMSD-5B and BATAN-2DIFF computer codes. The WIMSD-5B code using nuclear data ENDFB-VIII.0 with a loading mass of 250 grams is used to generate macroscopic cross-sections of core material and the BATAN-2DIFF code is used for core calculations. The purpose of this study was to determine the value of the neutronic parameter of the reactivity coefficient at the RSG-GAS core with hot full power conditions. The results of the calculation of the reactivity coefficient of moderator and fuel temperatures at HFP conditions are negative and the value is not the same for each temperature. From the calculation results it can be concluded that the reactor core is under moderated and in line with expectations. (author)
