Deposition in the vicinity of nuclear installations
Description
Knowledge of the way pollutants are deposited on plants and soils and are taken up by the biological systems is important for establishing a radiological analysis of the siutation in the environment of nuclear facilities. One can derive qualitative information about the deposition of the emissions and the distribution of the radiation doses from the type of the emissions and from the analysis of the weather situations and the vegetation conditions in the environment of nuclear facilities. These interrelationships are examined referring to measured data and values taken from literature. (orig./DG)

Die Kenntnis der Ablagerung von Schadstoffen auf Pflanzen und Boeden und ihre Rueckhaltung ist fuer eine radiologische Analyse der Umgebungsbelastung kerntechnischer Anlagen von Bedeutung. Aus der Art der Emissionen und aus der Analyse der Wetterlagen und der Vegetationsverhaeltnisse in der Umgebung kerntechnischer Anlagen kann man qualitativ auf die Ablagerung und die Verteilung der Kontaminatons- bzw. Dosiswerte schliessen. Diese Zusammenhaenge werden anhand eigener Messergebnisse und aufgrund von Literaturwerten untersucht. (orig./DG)Additional details
