Description

In order to study the 'fingering' phenomenon in three dimensions, experiments of water infiltration in cubic columns containing two lawyers of sand in order to simulate a stratified soil were performed in the laboratory. The methodology is presented. NMR and X-rays tomography were used to enable a three dimensional approach. Results are presented and discussed
