Description
A simultaneous analysis of two different 5π final states from anti b annihilation at rest is used to study the decays of isoscalar 0++ states into 4π0. The data demand two scalar states, the f0(1370) with m=1395±40 MeV/c2, Γ=275 ±55 MeV/c2 and the f0(1500) with mass and width compatible with previous findings. Apart from the dominant scalar intensity, the π(1300) plays an important role in the 5π dynamics. We find a mass of m=1375±40 MeV/c2 and a width of Γ=268 ±50 MeV/c2 with a dominant decay into ρπ. The (ππ)sπ decay of the π(1300) is less than 15% of its ρπ decay. (orig.)
