  • 1. Faculty of Health Care and Social Work, University of Trnava, Trnava (Slovakia)
  • 2. Slovak Medical University, Bratislava (Slovakia)

Description

The input surface dose received in the sternal area by patients undergoing coronary CT angiography was measured with thermoluminescent detectors. The mean levels were 34.35 ± 18.62 mGy for males and 33.26 ± 16.35 mGy for females (p > 0.05). The observed radiation doses were compared with the data stored in the hospital PACS archive. (orig.)
