Application of TUKAN8K program for environmental contamination measurements and 'on-line' analysis

Description

The TUKAN8K program is dedicated to control spectrometric data acquisition performed by TUKAN analyzers (manufactured in OPJ Swierk) and to collect, visualize and analyze gamma spectra. The spectra can be obtained from scintillate or semiconductor detectors. Simple, intuitive navigation of the program, set of ready to use databases (Libraries) containing parameters of nuclides occurring in environmental samples, ability of 'combined' analysis of spectra which are collected in similar conditions, ability of performing calibration based on standard spectra and many other features make introduced program to be particularly useful for laboratories performing environmental contamination measurements. Besides the 'off-line' operation the TUKAN8K program provides 'on-line' analysis. It simplifies and accelerates process of setting acquisition path parameters which are optimal for current needs.
