Angular dependence of the yield of cumulative protons produced in γA interactions at Esub(γ)sup(max)=4,5 GeV

Description

New data on angular dependence of proton yield from 12C, 63Cu, 208Pb nuclei irradiated by bremsstrahlung γ-quanta with the maximum energy of 4.5 GeV are presented. The investigated range of escape angles is expanded up to THETAsub(p)=175 deg. The results are obtained on a beam G-3 of the Erevan electron synchrotron by means of the ''Deutron'' facility. Protons have been identified by a magnetic spectrometer on the base of measuring transit time. Pulses have been measured in the range Psub(p)=0.4-0.8 GeV/s with relative spread ΔPsub(p)/Psub(p)=+-11%, transit time has been determined in the range t=13.8-5.5 ns with relative spread Δt/t=4.9-2.6%
