Equivalence of the Schwinger model to a scalar-field gauge theory
Creators

Description
It is shown that the usual Schwinger model is entirely equivalent to a particular limit of a spin-zero field interacting with a conserved current. The demonstration is essentially trivial, but depends crucially upon the use of the first-order formulation for both the Maxwell field and the scalar field
