Study of hydrogen mobility by hydrogen-deuterium exchange. II. Theoretical kinetic study in alkyl and amino-alkyl pyrimidines

Description
Alkyl groups bound to the pyrimidine ring can be deuterium substituted on the carbon adjacent to the ring, in acidic D2O; kinetic equations corresponding to various exchange mechanism hypothesis are established. It is shown that theoretical and experimental results can be compared in order to precise the mechanism and to measure the characteristic parameters of the exchange reaction
Abstract (French)
Les groupements alkyles liés au noyau pyrimidique sont susceptibles de se deutérier en a du cycle dans l'eau lourde en milieu acide. Après avoir établi les équations cinétiques correspondant à diverses hypothèses de mécanisme d'échange, nous montrons la possibilité de confronter les résultats théoriques et expérimentaux en vue de préciser le mécanisme et de mesurer les grandeurs caractéristiques de la réaction d'échange.Additional details
