Description

The experiment of hydrogen absorption-desorption properties of U-25%at. Si and U-5.7%at. Al alloys was tried to develop of materials for temporary storage of hydrogen and isotopes purpose. The experiment data are show that U-5.7%at. Al alloy are similarly of pure uranium properties with the absorb hydrogen capacity about 2.9 atom/M, and decomposition pressure are less decreases while the absorb hydrogen capacity of U-25%at. Si only about 0.037 atom/M, although in the alloys content with uranium phase. From both of alloys, the U-5.7%at. Al more reactive and possible to promote as temporary storage of hydrogen than U-5.7%at. Si
