Self-adjointness of unbounded derivations on C*-algebras
Description
Various criteria on an unbounded derivation on a C*-algebra which ensures that the derivation is the infinitesimal generator of a strongly continuous one-parameter group of *-automorphisms are discussed. Results obtained by R.T. Powers, D.W. Robinson, S. Sakai and the author during the last year are surveyed and systematized. A couple of new results are also included
