Acoustic coupling monitoring system

Description

In application to reactor engineering developed is a system for acoustic coupling quality monitoring in ultrasonic flaw detection of articles. On the basis of the experimental data for steel 3 flat samples of the 26 mm thickness with artificial defects the dependence of the amplitudes of control echo-signals and pulses at different area of acoustic coupling were established. The recommendations are given on the choice of the angle value between the surfaces of selector and article
