Electrical resistivity of FeAs, FeAs2 and Fe2As at homogeneous high pressures

  • 1. National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Tsukuba, Ibaraki 305-8568 (Japan)

Description

Electrical resistivity of binary compounds containing iron and arsenic, FeAs, FeAs2 and Fe2As, is measured at homogeneous high pressures up to 15 GPa. The obtained results indicate the absence of pressure-induced superconductivity for these compounds in the specified pressure range. A new ground state possibly emerges in FeAs above 3 GPa. (paper)
