Description
Nine factors have been enumerated which must be incorporated routinely by the radiographer in every exposure with every patient to keep the radiation dose to the minimum. The rate of repeat examinations and ways of reducing this rate are briefly examined. In radiography of the chest and pelvis, ways of reducing doses to radiosensitive organs such as the breast, thyroid and gonads are discussed. (U.K.)
