Behaviour of hydrogen azide under extraction reprocessing of high active wastes

Description

The constant for hydrazoic acid distribution between gaseous and liquid phases dependent on nitrogen acid concentration, temperature and bubbling (or blowdown) gas flow rate is experimentally determined. Calculations of HN3 distribution between gaseous and liquid phases under conditions of simultaneous and separated strontium and cesium re-extraction taking into account temperature, blowdown gas flow, solution volumes, re-extractor dose rates, concentrations of HNO3 and competing chemical reactions with HN3 formation or decomposition in aqueous solutions are made
