This report deals with the role of the French parliament in the field of nuclear safety, and more precisely about the possible restart of Superphenix. A lot of expertise and counter-expertise have been done to know whether this breeder should be restarted or not. Despite technical and safe conditions filled as soon as 1992, restart has not been decided yet for various reasons explained in this document. The latter also relates the parliamentarian audition of December 1993 and finally conclude on the role the Parliament should have with Superphenix. (TEC)
