Studying the tissue-equivalent cylindrical counter for equidosimetry and linear-energy-transfer spectrometry of ionizing radiations
Description
Design and main characteristics of cylindrical tissue-equivalent proportional counter for measuring integral and differential dose characteristics of mixed radiation behind the high-energy charged particle accelerator shield are considered. Gas amplification factor at the counter operating woltage of 1000 V varies in the range of 615±100. Resolution for 239Pu α-particles is 10 %. 6 refs.; 3 figs.; 1 tab
