Stability of lower-hybrid drift solitons
Description
Three-dimensional nonlinear equation describing slightly-dispersive lower-hybrid drift (LHD) waves is obtained. Possible existence of quasi-one-dimensonal LHD solitons is shown. One-dimensional soliton stability regarding three-dimensional long-wave perturbations is investigated. One-dimensional LHD soliton is shown to be stable regarding the perturbations in view
