Magnetization of superconductive windings

Description

Stationary magnetic fields are described excited by a superconducting winding. Magnetization is derived for a superconducting plate, a layer of ring conductors with transparent current, as well as the hysteresis of the cylindrical solenoid magnetic field. It was proved that at virgin magnetization the magnetization is proportional to the critical current value of the superconductor and to its dimension normal to the magnetic field while the direction of magnetization is opposite to the direction of the external magnetic field. The same applies to the maximal remanence magnetization value except that the direction is identical to that of the external magnetic field. (J.B.)
